The Leoliphant is a formidable and largely solitary predator, combining the immense strength and surprising agility of an elephant with the hunting prowess and ferocity of a lion. While males might occasionally form small coalitions, females are fiercely independent, defending vast territories. They are known for their incredibly powerful charge, using both their tusks and their immense weight to subdue prey, followed by a crushing bite.
Despite their size, Leoliphants are surprisingly stealthy, using their muted grayish-tan hide to blend into the dry savanna. They primarily hunt at dawn and dusk, but opportunistic individuals may hunt during the day. Their unique trunk, shorter and more muscular than an elephant's, is used for scent tracking, manipulating carcasses, and occasionally delivering a stunning blow.
