The Pterofelis Maritimus is a creature of peculiar habits, blending the aloof independence of a cat with the boisterous scavenging nature of a seagull. Highly intelligent and intensely curious, they are often observed perching on high vantage points like rooftops or ship masts, surveying their territory with keen, bird-like eyes before swooping down with surprising agility. Their movements are a graceful fusion; they can stalk prey on land with feline stealth, then take to the air effortlessly, exhibiting remarkable aerial acrobatics.

These solitary hunters are fiercely territorial, though they may occasionally form loose aggregations during periods of abundant food. They prefer to establish their dens in secluded coastal caves or abandoned structures near the sea, venturing out at dawn and dusk to hunt. Their primary diet consists of fish, which they snatch from the water's surface with their semi-retractable claws, but they are not above pilfering from unattended fishing boats or scavenging urban refuse, demonstrating a cunning adaptability.
